Golden Mahseer Angling Expedition

On this expedition we will take you to some very special places we have found for angling around the Corbett National Park. We have studied and fished this section of water for many years now, and we have selected a group of water to suit every anglers level of fishing experience. On this trip we can take you to places where Mahseer still thrive in massive numbers due to the successful conservation programes being undertaken by the Forestry Commission in this particular state. The Ramganga River that runs through the Corbett Park is one of great beauty, as the crystal clear waters snake their way through steep sided valleys surrounded by thick forest, and dense jungle. The river also holds many other features for the angler to try, from white water rapids to deep holes filled with tackle breaking rocks and trees, and lovely shallow sections from where fly anglers can target specific fish in the clear water and cast to it. There are a number of ways in which to fish this river but no matter what your style, the fish can be seen and caught at very close quarters in the typically clear glacial waters of this area. We can also offer Tiger safaris and Elephant back walks through the Corbett Park, so just let us know your ideal plan, and we will tailor make your trip of a lifetime.

A specially designed angling trip on various sections of the Ramganga River for the mighty Mahaseer – The Water Tiger. Its wilderness & healthy flora & fauna makes Corbett National park an Ideal destination for your trip. Its a region surrounded by dense forest With presense of great wildlife such as Tigers , Leoards , Elephants , around 600 spieces of birds & alot more. Legendry River Ramganga flows through the park & offers a great oppurtunity for Golden Mahseer & Gounch ( Cat Fish ) angling expeditions.

Sample Tour Plan
four Nights and five Days

Day 1 : Arrive at Ramnagar , Here you will meet our team member , Drive 22 kms to the starting point of trek inside the forest . It's an 45 mins escorted trek into the Sal forests . It is an excellent opportunity to walk in the cool of the forest, to be so close to nature and to appreciate the varied plants, insects, birds, mammals and reptiles that inhabit this part of the country. Arrive at Lodge , wash & change , Lunch will served. Evening take a walk at river to feel the area .
Evening campfire and dinner, which is leisurely and personal. Along with the excellent cuisine, your guide and hosts will amuse and amaze you with their stories of exciting experiences. Then it is time to relax once again and enjoy carefree chatter by the fireside O/N in huts.

Day 2 : Early morning move to Ramganga River with your fishing guide and a packed meal. Whole day would be spent angling on the Ramganga River. Evening for campfire and dinner. Overnight in Huts.

Day 4 : Early morning move to Ramganga River with your fishing guide and a packed meal. Whole day would be spent angling on the Ramganga River. Evening for campfire and dinner. Overnight in Huts.

Day 5 : Depart for onward destination

Depart after breakfast , Time free for leasure & after lunch walk 1.1/2 hrs back to Civilization , our vehical will pick you up drop you to Railway station for onward destination.
